A paixão por bateria de Edu começou bem cedo influenciado pelo seu pai, baterista/músico profissional por mais de 35 anos.
Durante a adolescência se apresentou com bandas na escola até que surgiu a sua primeira oportunidade profissional, ser músico da tradicional banda de baile paulistana, Dimensão 5, nessa banda tocou com músicos experientes e teve contato com diversos estilos musicais moldando a sua carreira como um músico eclético.
Com 23 anos de carreira Edu ja se apresentou e gravou com artistas nacionais e internacionais. Como sideman trabalhou com artistas como: KLB, Patricia Coelho, Marina Lima, Manu Gavassi, entre outros.
Participou de jams e gravações com artistas que jamais imaginou conhecer e alguns deles chamar de amigo como: Billy Sheehan (Mr.Big), Eric Martin (Mr.Big), Paul Gilbert (Mr.Big), Alex Skolnick (Testament), Gus G (Ozzy Osbourne), Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), David Ellefson (Megadeth), Devin Townsend, entre outros.
Desde 2008 Edu segue gravando discos e viajando o mundo com o vocalista norte-americano Jeff Scott Soto (Yngwye Malmsteen, Journey, TSO, Sons Of Apollo) tocando em renomados festivais e famosas casas de show. Em 2009 grava seu primeiro DVD com Jeff em Madrid intitulado "One Night In Madrid". Em 2015 fundou a banda SOTO, idealizada para formalizar os integrantes como uma unidade e não mais a carreira solo de Jeff. Com SOTO lançou 3 albums por gravadoras de grande porte, sendo o ultimo em 2019 mundialmente pela gravadora Sony.
Em 2017 foi convidado para fazer parte da banda de apoio do vocalista Geoff Tate, lendário vocalista da banda americana de Heavy Metal Queensryche, que faria 2 shows no Brasil tocando o aclamado album Operation Mindcrime para uma plateia de 4.000 pessoas no Tom Brasil em São Paulo. Após os 2 shows no Brasil, foi convidado a excursionar com Geoff pela Europa em 2018 e em 2020 pelos Estados Unidos na turnê de 30 anos do album Empire.
De uns anos pra ca vem oferecendo serviços de gravação de bateria online, tendo gravado diversos albums e singles de artistas nacionais e internacionais.

Edu started his passion for drums early in his life influenced by his father, a professional musician / drummer for 35 years.
During his teenage years Edu performed with local bands until he hits the big gigs with a professional band playing with older musicians and getting to learn a lot of new styles.
As a professional musician for 23 years Edu performed and recorded with many artists around the world.
In all those years Edu jammed with names like: Billy Sheehan (Mr.Big), Eric Martin (Mr.Big), Paul Gilbert (Mr.Big), Alex Skolnick (Testament), Gus G (Ozzy Osbourne), Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), David Ellefson (Megadeth), Devin Townsend, amongst others.
Since 2008, it has been touring the World with Jeff Scott Soto ( Yngwie Malmsteen, Journey, Trans-Siberian-Orchestra, Sons Of Apollo) playing the best venues and festivals in the world. In 2009 recorded his first live DVD with Jeff in Madrid called “One Night In Madrid”. In 2015 formed the band SOTO, intended to separate Jeff’s solo career from a new musical adventure and consolidate members as a unit. SOTO has 3 albums released worldwide on major record labels, the latest one “Origami” in 2019 via Inside Out/Sony Music.
In 2017 was invited to play 2 shows in Brazil with Metal Legend and former Queensryche singer Geoff Tate, the band played the classic album Operation Mindcrime in its entirety for sold out crowds. After these 2 shows Edu was invited to join Geoff’s band in other 2 tours, the Operation Mindcrime 30th anniversary tour in the UK / Eu in 2018 and the Empire / Rage For Order Tour in the US in 2020.
Besides the bands, it has been dedicating his time as a session drummer offering a Online Service for artists and bands all over the World.
